FOCUS: Sustainable Airports, Green Hydrogen

OVERVIEW: Forever Flight is a small business dedicated towards holistic strategies toward net-zero aviation. The next generation of flight will demand more local clean energy at airports across the world. So, our gen-z business finds unique sources of funding and then develops the sustainable infrastructure and the local renewable energy such as solar, tidal, and geothermal energy to source electric and green hydrogen flight.

After finishing a volunteer project with the National Renewable Energy lab to rebuild Puerto Rico’s grid to be climate resilient, we developed our Flame Tanager Toolkit to expedite the Sustainable Master Planning Process.

Our Flame Tanager Toolkit has tools that plan for the rapid transition to net-zero flight by calculating the future energy needs of an individual airport sourced entirely from renewable energy. It considers the geography of the airport, the planes per day, and the terminal energy use to maximize the renewable energy potential of geography. We have another tool for individuals to minimize capital expenditures and have a goal of reaching net-zero aviation infrastructure by 2024. We are partnering with the leaders in green hydrogen to quantify the needs and safety features of this next generation zero carbon emission fuel source.

Forever Flight is also working with the Texas Ideation Bootcamp and NextCorps Manufacturing Accelerator towards prototyping electric drones to remotely fight forest fires. Our aerial firefighting solution will eliminate the chance any human has to fly over dangerous forest fires.
